Work
- Joined DNV at the beginning of the year – responsible for leading the mainframe and AWS service areas from a consulting standpoint
- Getting stuck into Microsoft Learn again to prep for the SC-500 certification. Though I’ve no idea what was wrong with the old AZ-500…
Personal
- Trying to get a more concrete schedule decided in terms of writing for the blog (aiming for a post every 2ish weeks), and still failing miserably at it
- House hunting. Let’s see how it goes.
Projects
- (Mostly) set up a mainframe at home. Pretty much my hobby for the foreseeable future and something for me to tinker with. Doing more sysprog oriented things have been a great help in learning more.
- Developing an “emulator” of sorts related to mainframe things - more on that later once it’s a bit more off the ground
- Tinkering with Local LLMs
